Drainage and Erosion Control
Poor drainage and erosion can lead to serious long term damage if left unaddressed. We identify problem areas and implement solutions that help manage water and protect the land. This includes directing runoff, stabilizing soil, and reducing erosion on slopes and high traffic areas. Our work is designed to improve durability and reduce maintenance over time.
If you are dealing with water or erosion concerns, we would be happy to help you find a lasting solution.

Slope Stabilization
Slope stabilization helps prevent soil from shifting or eroding on sloped areas of a property. One effective solution is planting grass supported by wood mulch and a tacking agent that holds the seed in place while vegetation begins to grow. As the roots develop, they help bind the soil and create long-term stability. In some cases, engineered grading can also be used to reshape the slope and reduce steepness, improving both stability and drainage.

Culvert and Driveway Drainage
Proper drainage is essential for maintaining a durable driveway. We inspect the culvert and surrounding area to determine whether the culvert needs to be cleared, replaced, or if the driveway needs reshaping to improve water flow. When needed, we regrade the driveway to create a slight crown through the center and add gravel or compacted base materials to strengthen the surface and improve drainage.

Ditch Drainage
Maintaining properly functioning ditches helps protect properties from water buildup and erosion. We clear sediment and vegetation from existing ditches, reshape them to maintain a consistent slope and depth, and install culverts or small bridges when needed. The sides of the ditch can be stabilized with grass or gravel to help control erosion. Using laser leveling equipment allows us to achieve the proper slope so water flows efficiently and drainage performs as it should.
